Player placement will be working with the coaches during the first few weeks of the season to evaluate players to be moved up from the B teams to the A teams. The A and B teams are practiced together for the first few weeks of the season so that the coaches can see and evaluate the players. The coaches will make recommendations to player placement on which players to move, then player placement will evaluate the players chosen and make recommendations to the BOD. The goal of player placement is to have all player movement completed in the first month of the season. The Team sizes will be determined in August by the BOARD barring late/dropped registrations, at which time the movement of an additional player from B to A level could be considered. In the past AYHL collected the registration fee and paid Mass Hockey and USA Hockey on the player's behalf. In 2007 USA Hockey changed the process and each player must register themselves on-line. Once the season gets underway the AYHL Registrar will use the USA Hockey system to indicate which players are on each of our teams. If you do not register then the Registrar won't be able find your player and they won't be able to skate with their team. In addition, if you don't register you aren't insured.

A reminder that season Fees are due by August 15th, 2009. Invoices will be going out shortly and can be paid up to August 15th, 2009. No players will be allowed on the ice without being paid in full.  Please send all payments to ;
